LIVING YOGA: UBUD RETREAT

Join us as we return to Ubud this June for Living Yoga's most enquired about retreat! I brought ​retreat groups to Bali twice last year since the borders reopened, and both times, Mama Bali held us in the most exquisite, heart-opening ways. While some would contend that there is so much more to see in Bali, Ubud always feels like homecoming for me, and I am excited to introduce you to some amazing teacher friends and healers. I am also extremely excited to be returning to our retreat centre's lush and stunning grounds in Tegallalang.

During this five-day retreat, it is my intention for us to settle into a slower, more intentional rhythm of being. Amid contemplative sessions on our mats where we explore asana, pranayama and meditative practices, there will be plenty of pauses for you to just be, whether it's to curl up with a book on your balcony, indulge in a massage, or hop on a ride to Ubud town to check out the many shops and cafes. It's also always fascinating how quickly like-minded travellers bond, so don't be surprised if you end up having many long conversations with new friends over endless cups of tea!

Please note

  • All rooms have ensuite showers and toilets

  • Price quoted is for a superior chalet room. Upgrades are available, but honestly, the chalets are gorgeous as they are!

  • There is no A/C in the rooms; only ceiling fans. But don't worry! We are at quite a high altitude so it's pretty cool, and night-time temperatures can drop to 19-20 degree Celsius.

  • Expenses incurred should you test positive for Covid in Bali. Please make sure your travel insurance adequately covers this.

  • Any necessary Covid tests, should regulations require them then

  • All personal expenses eg. laundry, lunch and extra F&B orders

There are many flights in and out of Bali, so please don't feel like you MUST take the suggested flights. If you're flying into Bali on 8 June itself, it is a good idea to land no later than 1:30pm, so you have ample time to travel to the retreat centre without stress. Our retreat begins at 5:30pm with a Balinese blessing ceremony and opening circle on Thu 8 June, and ends at 11am on Mon 12 June after morning practice and breakfast. If you're flying out on 12 June, please opt for a flight that leaves Denpasar after 3pm.

Booking and cancellation policy

​

The retreat will go on so long as international travel regulations allow quarantine-free travel between Indonesia and Singapore. Please stay updated with the latest information on the ICA website here.

​

Please email Leigh to register. A non-refundable S$500 deposit will be required to secure your spot. Your space is not confirmed until I reply to let you know that I have received your deposit. The remaining fee is to be paid in full by Fri 31 March 2023.

  • Cancellations communicated in writing by 1 May 2023 will receive a 40% refund.

  • Cancellations communicated in writing by 1 June 2023 will receive a 25% refund.

  • No refunds will be made after 1 June 2023.

  • To avoid paying the cancellation surcharge, you can get someone else to take your place on the retreat.

  • The cancellation policy above will remain in place regardless of your reason for dropping out, including spikes in Covid cases and acts beyond our control. This is a risk you assume upon registration. Please purchase adequate travel insurance upon confirmation of your spot on the retreat.
